Angela Nelli:
Owner, Artist, Instructor
Hello! My name is Angela Nelli. I am an artist & designer, art teacher, & entrepreneur. I am the mother of Ava & Gavin, wife to Gabe, & cat mom to Cali & Olive.
I am excited to provide EMPORIUM as a venue to showcase other women artists & small business owners to sell their goods. As a former stay-at-home/homeschool mom I have experienced the pull of my passion to be at home with my children mixed with my passion to create & share art with others. My hope is that EMPORIUM will provide an opportunity for women to find that balance & a place of belonging.
With my background in Fine Arts, Art History, & Art Education, I enjoy offering art making opportunities to both youth & adults throughout the community, & now in my studio classroom at EMPORIUM.
I have never been good at picking favorites! So, although I earned my BFA in metalsmithing & sculpture, I continue to enjoy creating art in many different mediums! You can find my pottery, jewelry, paintings, textiles, & more at EMPORIUM in Cumberland, WI.
Meet the artists/makers/creators featured at EMPORIUM:

Amber Berg - Electroformed Copper Rings: Hello! My name is Amber, and I'm a mother to three beautiful boys, Ezra, Max, and Dylan. I am also a wife to my incredible husband Mikael. I can't forget to mention my soul dog, Girlie, a member of our family who I also adore. As a stay at home mom I have always found so much contentment and joy in being a homemaker and caring for my children. I am even more fulfilled now that I have recently found my way back to my artistic and creative side that had gotten lost in motherhood. About a year ago I discovered the art of electroforming copper gemstone rings, and I have such an excitement and passion for it! I absolutely love designing and creating each of these rings. I put so much care into every step of the jewelry making process and pay great attention to detail. Each ring that I make is unique and one of a kind. It is very important to me to produce special and quality rings. My hope is that they will bring enjoyment and happiness to those who wear them.

Robinson's Joy was born in April 2016, shortly after finding out that I was not only pregnant but carrying twins! I wanted to find natural skin products that would moisturize, nourish and prevent stretch marks on my growing belly. I created my own "Mama's Blend" an all-natural blend of moisturizing oils. Robinson's Joy entire Body Oil and Whipped Butter line was inspired by that blend. I started making candles because I am an avid candle user, but I became concerned about all the toxins that they emit. So, I decided to make my own clean/safe candles that I felt comfortable burning around my children.

Dot & Army is a small batch manufacturing company based in coastal Georgia that believes little changes do make a difference. Choosing cloth napkins over paper, skipping the plastic bag for a reusable one, and replacing paper towels for unpaper ones. Jennifer has been sewing since the age of eight, and hasn't stopped. Her family has been using only cloth napkins and "un-paper" towels for over eight years. But you still might be asking, who is Dot and Army? Dot and Army are Jennifer's maternal grandparents who constantly set the bar high on kindness, generosity and service.

Emily Wancier: Mayana Designs was created in 2020 by Emily Wancier as a way to explore and share her love of artisan handmade beaded jewelry. Drawing from her time living abroad with her family in Ghana, Peru, Nicaragua, and currently Colombia, the jewelry pieces often are inspired by textiles and indigenous art forms that she has encountered along the way. Emily is primarily self-taught and continues to challenge herself by exploring geometric form and color as she transforms Japanese Miyuki glass beads into wearable art. Mayana Designs is committed to offering bead weaving training and employment primarily to single mothers and members of the displaced indigenous community in Medellin, Colombia, where the jewelry is produced in small-batches. As Mayana Designs grows, the hope is that it can expand its ability to provide much-needed income to vulnerable women.

Rebecca Wise Girson - mixed media collage art: I am based in Orange Park, Florida. My journey into the world of art began in 2002 as a therapeutic escape from the inevitable pressures of corporate life. What began as stress relief blossomed into an unexpected passion and a new creative identity. Art is my sanctuary… It’s a space where I can channel my experiences, emotions, and “remains of the day” into something tangible and meaningful. Creating gets me out of my head and into the flow state where time simultaneously stands still and slips away without me even noticing.

Nova Candle Co. was founded in 2019 with the intent to create a business of our own that we could run and grow into something great. Our love of candles seemed like the perfect way to get this started. From making candles in the spare bedrooms in our house, to finally having a retail storefront to call home, our main goal has always been to combine high quality ingredients, hand crafted scents and a stylish touch so you always have the best product possible on display. Our candles are hand-poured in Cincinnati, OH. with high quality ingredients so we can provide you with the best candle possible. Each candle is made with all 100% soy wax, sourced from American farmers and contains high quality fragrances oils.

Elaina Westendorf - Handmade beeswax candles: I am an aspiring homesteader and permaculturist. I live on 9 acres in northern Wisconsin where I raise fresh fruits, vegetables and happy chickens, pigs, and rabbits for my friends and family. One of my dreams is having a successful honeybee colony so I'm using locally sourced wax to make 100% unscented beeswax candles. This way my friends and neighbors can have chemical-free honey scented light in their homes and I can someday save up to bring a queen home! Bless you! Elaina

Erin: founder of Nomad Design Co. I started my candle company during the COVID-19 pandemic while working full-time as an architect. What began as a creative outlet during uncertain times quickly evolved into a passion project. Drawing on my background in design and my deep love for the outdoors, I created a candle collection that blends minimalist aesthetics with nature-inspired scents. Each candle is thoughtfully crafted to bring a sense of calm, warmth, and connection to the natural world. As part of our mission to give back, we donate a portion of all sales to the National Park Foundation, helping preserve and protect the places that continue to inspire our brand.

Beth & Brad - Welcome to Rogue Jerky Co., where we bring you the bold, adventurous flavors of Northern Michigan in every bite. For the past seven years, my wife and I have been deep in the jerky world, running the top beef jerky subscription box out there. We've tasted hundreds of flavors and types of craft beef jerky, so we know exactly what makes the best jerky—perfect texture, mouthwatering flavors, and that something special you can't quite put your finger on. We absolutely love Northern Michigan and take every chance we get to head up north. The beauty, the adventure, the flavors—it all inspires us. So, we decided to create our own brand that connects our passion for premium craft beef jerky with our favorite place. We source our ingredients directly from the north to create those bold flavors that remind us of our trips up north. Rogue Jerky Co. is a tribute to our hometown, Rockford, MI, right by the Rogue River. We've poured years into perfecting our flavors, going through endless revisions until each one was just right. Our Cherry Chipotle, with cherry juice from Traverse City, is just one example of how we bring the taste of the North to our jerky. We're so proud of what we've created and can't wait for you to try it. This brand has been years in the making, and every bag of jerky is crafted with love, care, and a nod to the adventures of Northern Michigan. Join us on this tasty journey and discover what makes Rogue Jerky Co. so special. Taste the North with every bite—it's downright delicious.

Debra Wuorenma - Lost Key Jewelry: A true "Minnesconsinite", I was transplanted from St. Paul, MN to Cumberland over 30 years ago. My passion is creating unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces by upcycling and repurposing many vintage treasures, including maps, hardware, watch parts, and of course keys from distant times and lands. Creating custom jewelry is my favorite hobby. I love watching each piece come to life and blossom a connection with another individual.

Vinnie & Meg's Honey: As a child Vinnie Lepak was introduced to having bees by his father Cy. Vinnie later started his own hives with his wife Meg in 2014, in Cumberland, WI. Their local honey hobby is a labor of love with a few bee stings!

Anne of The Secret Garden: When my husband, infant daughter and I moved onto our northern Minnesota farm in 1972, we didn't know much about organic farming, but we were determined to live off the land. I planted a garden. We bought a cow and learned how to milk her by hand. We survived a winter. Each year we made progress. My vegetable garden grew larger and more productive. I taught myself to preserve its bounty and created soup mixes that I could toss into a slow cooker before I set off for my morning school bus route. Some soup mixes were so tasty, I gave them as holiday gift to relatives, then decided to market them. My husband built a small commercial kitchen that named 'the soup building.' As my soup mix sales grew, I added mixes for pancakes and quick breads. Breads need spreads, so I made jam with garden raspberries and wild plums. Everything I make has to be wholesome. No artificial ingredients or preservatives, MSG or aspartame. My mission is to make delicious, nutritious food that you'll enjoy preparing, and your family will enjoy eating.

We're a mother-daughter team that wants to provide you with a wide range of nature-infused self-care products. We make all of our products in small batches to ensure freshness and don't use unnecessary ingredients so your skincare can be clean and we use premium quality ingredients so your skin can get every last bit of the benefits!
